Realismo magico è un termine che può essere applicato sia alla letteratura che alle arti visive e alla pittura in particolar modo. In letteratura distingue un filone letterario in cui gli elementi magici appaiono in un contesto altrimenti realistico. In pittura si rifà ad una visione lucidamente attonita del reale.
